A few years ago we began to hear about the futuristic idea pursued in China: manufacturing a Bus capable of traveling over the other vehicles to avoid delays caused by traffic. Although so far only existed as a concept in the form of computer animations, the vehicle of which I speak just is running on the roads of Qinhuangdao, China.
As you can see in the image illustrating in this article, it is a bus of enormous dimensions, nothing to do with traditional buses. In fact, having the width enough for two cars moving under the bus in parallel. However, it is important to note that the vehicle is not yet ready for use, but has been installed in the testing phase and only travel a distance of 300 meters.
Still, it is a big step forward, and that is that if the tests go as expected, the huge bus could begin to circulate on the roads of China soon. Come true, the vehicle will be able to carry up to 1200 passengers at a speed of about 65 km / h. In addition to eliminating concerns about road congestion at peak times, the arrival of this vehicle could encourage the use of transport public instead of private cars.
